I've been wanting to write a post all week, but I have just been so busy. We're trying to buy a house (more on that in a future post) which will require us to downsize from the spacious 5 bedroom we are currently renting to a modest 3 bedroom (I assume).
When I saw that
Cari decided this week's photography theme was piles, I thought,
oh yeah, this will be my life in still photos.
All pics taken on my iPhone with no editing because I still need to clean these piles, go to Costco, and take care of two sick toddler boys. I'm short on time, you know?

pile of papers in my kitchen to be sorted. ugh. paper clutter. |
|
pile of folded laundry to be put away |
|
every NFP family can relate-- baby stuff. what to keep? what to donate? decisions, decisions. |
|
what's keeping my boys busy while I blog? legos. |
|
...and blueberries |
|
love my little guys!
Go check out more cool photography at Clan Donaldson. Thanks for stopping by! |
My least favorite pile--laundry!! But the boys and the legos/blueberries are cute.
ReplyDeleteWe have the same issue with baby clothes all the time! I never know what to do, and there's only so much attic space and husbandly patience.
ReplyDeleteAlso, even in the middle of such uncertainty, your floors are immaculate.
The Tubs. The Neverending Tubs. The quadrillion decisions to make about every little item. As soon you get those sorted, the weather will change or the kids will grow two sizes, or you'll move to a new climate (I wish). Christ could have said, "The tubs you will always have with you."
ReplyDeleteThe lego pile is my favorite. :-) I tried to photo some here, but they didn't turn out nearly as nice as yours. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteBlueberries straight out of the plastic container, they never make it past that at our house either!
ReplyDeleteI love the Legos, and I totally sympathize with both the laundry and the tubs. I got summer hand-me-downs this week, and now I need another tub. I am afraid to buy one, though, because I suspect they multiply behind closed doors.
ReplyDeleteForget the container... Blueberries never even make it to the fridge in our house!
ReplyDeleteYour first photo made me shudder. Those kind of piles send me far far away. I HATE trying to figure out what to do with all that paper.
Also, ditto on the baby clothes.
Sometimes I wanna move again just so I'm forced to go through my ridic paper stacks. THAT is how bad I am!
ReplyDeleteLove the legos!
ReplyDeleteAnd oh, yes, every time I get rid of a baby/toddler/preschool item, I make my husband promise me that we can replace it if need be! You never know!
And paper is the worst. financial info, manuals, endless cute schoolwork, cards, blah!
love the legos and the boys! priceless
